A German university is accepting applications for First Stage Researchers (R1) in formal and/or natural sciences [i.e., no PhD earned yet]. Students will work in either the Department of Physics
or Mathematics. The scholarships are funded and extend for 12 months. All standard admission requirements apply. The application deadline is 31/07/2020.

Hi! This is Jasper and I wonder whether it is available for a student like me who majors in Software Engineering (centered in Artificial Intelligence) to apply for this program.
@Jasper: The program is more suitable for students of Mathematics/Physics background. But you can try if you completed extensive mathematics coursework.
